From April 30, 2009, the monks of Holy Resurrection Monastery will be living as guests of St. Andrew's Abbey, Valyermo CA. This arrangement is temporary (up to three years) while the Holy Resurrection community, with the assistance of their advisors, look for a permanent home in Southern California.

While living with their Benedictine brothers, the Holy Resurrection monks will live in a separate section of the monastery. They will pray daily in the old youth center chapel (about a half mile up from the main abbey chapel) which will be dedicated to their use and adapted for the Byzantine Rite. Visitors to either monastery may be accomodated (call ahead to check on availabilty!) in the beautiful retreat house run by St. Andrew's.
